Joe Wizard is a underground vet in the Canadian HipHop community and also goes by the alias's MilkMan234 for his beat production & Jay Digits as a promoter/event planner. There isn't much Joe hasn't done in the indie music scene in Toronto CA from song writing, recording, engineering, performing to booking and setting up showcases, promoting online/streets, show hosting/MCing, some djing and to add to the list of credits he also does photography, basic graphic designing plus visual quality videography. Joe started break dancing in 1990 then beat boxing n free styling in 1992. By 95 he started song writing and by 97 had his 1st project under his belt called "A Light In Darkness". All the lyrics n beats where produced by Joe and recorded on a cassette from a Cherokee with 2 mics. To get to the 21st century Joe had to overcome a lot of trials and tribulations, one always being in trouble with the law and then in the late 90s developed a illness that became life threatening in 2006. Undergoing three major surgeries from 2006 to late 2007 Joe was basically bed ridden but kept his faith in the Lord and is here to tell the tail. Lets move up to 2012 by this time Joe as an producer has made 1000s of beats, as a recording artist independently written n recorded 100s of songs and as a promoter/event planner has booked, hosted over 200 HipHop showcases in Toronto with his company The Canadian Indie Movement. Although Joe has only released 1 song for commercial sales he has a library that can feed generations of HipHop but time limitations holds him back as he is a Father of 5 great kids ranging from 15 years to 16 months. His dream is to find the right contact in the music industry that can help him make enough money off of music to feed the fam and make music for a living instead of struggling day to day, month to month. Wether that dream will ever come true Joe Wizard will always continue to make music every chance he gets and support the other local talent by giving them an platform to showcase there talent in front of a crowd by setting up these shows.
